How to Transition from Clover Direct to a New POS Integration: Step-by-Step Guide for Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub

Clover Direct integration is giving me many issues. I want to switch to OrderOut.

To switch from Clover Direct to OrderOut, here are the steps for each delivery platform:

  • Uber Eats: Once your OrderOut account and restaurant are set up, we will reach out to Uber Eats on your behalf to disable Clover Direct integration. Alternatively, you can contact Uber Eats directly at 833-275-3287 to request the removal. Note that using both OrderOut and Clover Direct simultaneously can lead to complications.
  • DoorDash: For OrderOut integration, DoorDash’s order protocol should be switched to email mode. After this change, your setup will be complete. If needed, you can also contact DoorDash at 855-222-8111 to assist with the transition.
  • Grubhub: Grubhub reviews accounts each Monday for OrderOut activation, with launches scheduled for Tuesdays. If they detect Clover Direct on your account, they’ll inform our team, and we’ll coordinate to have Clover Direct removed. For further assistance, you may contact Grubhub directly at 877-585-7878.
