When Can I Turn Off Delivery App Tablets After Integrating with a Third-Party System on Clover POS?

I was told to wait a couple of days—do I need to notify the app that we’ve integrated them into Clover via OrderOut?

Hi afarrokh330!

Once your integration with Clover via OrderOut is complete, you can manage orders directly through your POS system, which means you may no longer need the original delivery app tablets. Here’s what to do for each platform:

  1. Grubhub: You can turn off the Grubhub tablet starting on your launch day (e.g., the upcoming Tuesday, as mentioned). All Grubhub orders will then automatically flow into your Clover POS.
  2. DoorDash: For DoorDash, you can return the tablet back to DoorDash support. After integration, all DoorDash orders will be sent directly to your POS and printed without the need for a separate tablet.

There’s no need to notify the apps themselves about the integration, as the order routing will be automatically managed by OrderOut. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please reach out to our support team by email or phone.
