I want to clarify whether the Orderout inventory system updates automatically based on sales processed through Square. For instance, if an item sells out on Square and the inventory reflects zero (0) units remaining, will Orderout automatically mark it as “Sold Out”? Or do I need to manually update and mark items as “Sold Out” on an hourly or daily basis?
Currently, OrderOut does not automatically sync inventory updates from Square POS, which means that when an item sells out on Square, it will not automatically be marked as “Sold Out” in OrderOut. To keep your menu accurate and ensure a seamless customer experience, you will need to manually update sold-out items throughout the day.
