Want to set dual pricing so that pickup orders show lower prices than delivery orders? You’re in the right place! This is a great way to reflect your in-store pricing for pickup while applying a markup to delivery orders to cover third-party fees.
Follow the steps below to update your prices right from your OrderOut Dashboard:
1. Log Into Your Account
Head to dashboard.orderout.co and sign in using the email and password connected to your OrderOut account.
Make sure to use the correct credentials so you can access your dashboard without issues.
2. Navigate to the ‘Menu’ Section
Once you’re logged in, look at the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on the ‘Menu’ tab. This is where you’ll manage your menus for Uber Eats, DoorDash, and other delivery platforms.
3. Click ‘Edit Menu’
From the menu overview, select the menu you want to update and click the ‘Edit Menu’ button. This opens your full menu editor where you can customize item names, descriptions, prices, and more.
4. Update Pickup vs. Delivery Prices for Individual Items
Scroll to the item you’d like to update.
To the right of each item, you’ll see two columns labeled Pickup and Delivery.
- Enter your in-store pricing under Pickup
- Add your marked-up price under Delivery
This allows you to maintain dual pricing easily for every item on your menu.
5. (Optional) Update Pickup Prices in Bulk
Want to lower pickup prices across multiple items quickly? You can also use our ‘Update Bulk Item Prices’ to achieve the same result!
Here’s how:
- In the menu editor, click on ‘Menu Settings’ on the right-hand side
- Select ‘Update Bulk Item Prices’
- Choose the following:
- Whether you want to decrease by a dollar amount or percentage
- Apply the changes to Pickup only
- Select the items you’d like to apply this to
- Press ‘Save’ once you’re ready
This feature saves time when applying a consistent pricing strategy across your menu.
6. Publish Your Menu
Once you’ve finished editing, Click ‘Publish Your Menu!’ in the top-right corner.
This will push your updated pricing to Uber Eats and DoorDash.
