Why You Can’t Edit Your Uber Eats Menu After Integrating with OrderOut and How to Manage It

Hi, we couldn’t edit our menu on Uber Eats after integration. Can you help me cancel the integration, or guide me on how to make updates?

When you integrate your Uber Eats account with a third-party aggregator like OrderOut, the aggregator takes over the menu management functionality. This means that OrderOut becomes your central hub for managing your menu across all connected platforms, including Uber Eats. This setup is designed to streamline menu updates, allowing you to make changes in one place and push updates to all connected delivery platforms simultaneously, so you don’t have to log into each individual platform.

Because of this integration, the Uber Eats Merchant Portal restricts direct access to menu editing to avoid conflicts and ensures that all updates are managed exclusively through OrderOut.

How to Edit Your Menu Using OrderOut

To make any changes to your menu after the integration, you’ll need to log in to your OrderOut dashboard and follow these steps:

  1. Go to the OrderOut Dashboard: Visit OrderOut Dashboard and log in with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Menus Section: Locate the “Menus” section within the dashboard to access all menu items associated with your connected delivery platforms.
  3. Edit Your Menu: Click on the item you wish to update. You’ll be able to add, remove, or modify items as needed. The interface is user-friendly and makes it easy to adjust your menu.
  4. Publish Your Changes: Once you’ve completed editing, click on the “Publish Menu” button at the top right corner of the screen. This step ensures your changes are sent to Uber Eats and any other connected platforms.
  5. Instant Update on Uber Eats: After publishing, your updates should reflect on your Uber Eats menu instantly. It’s always a good idea to check that your changes are visible by viewing your live menu on the Uber Eats app or website.
