On the UberEats app, we previously had the option to make certain menu items available only on specific days, like weekends. How can I set this up with OrderOut?

To make specific menus available only on designated days, such as weekends, you can configure this directly in your OrderOut dashboard by following these steps:

  1. Go to Dashboard.OrderOut.co.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Menu’ section.
  3. Click on ‘Add a Menu Section’ to create a new section dedicated to the specific days you want, like ‘Weekend Specials’.
  4. Add a ‘Menu Category’ under this section if needed.
  5. Add your menu items to this section.
  6. Set the specific hours and days you’d like this section to be available. For instance, select only Saturday and Sunday if this menu is only for weekends.
  7. Once all items and settings are in place, make sure to click ‘Publish Menu’ to apply the changes.

After publishing, you should see your specified menu sections appear as available only on those designated days on your delivery platforms. On UberEats, for example, your ‘Weekend Specials’ might show up exclusively during the hours you set for Saturday and Sunday.
