How to Get Orders from UberEats and ChowNow to Show Up on Your Clover KDS

Originally, Uber Eats orders appeared on both our Clover KDS screens and the kitchen printer. However, they now only print and no longer appear on the KDS screens. The same issue is occurring with ChowNow orders—they also only print and do not show up on the KDS screens. Is there a way to configure the system so that both Uber Eats and ChowNow orders automatically display on the KDS screens?

Step 1: Reinstall the OrderOut App on Your Clover POS

  1. Go to your Clover POS and open the App Market.

  2. In the search bar, type OrderOut and press enter.

  3. Select the OrderOut app from the search results, then click ‘Connect’ to reinstall the app.


Step 2: Configure Your KDS Settings

  1. On your Clover POS, open the Setup app.

  2. Navigate to Online Ordering > Settings > Remote Firing Device.

  3. Ensure that the Remote Firing Device is set to KDS.


Step 3: Adjust KDS Settings

  1. Go to your actual KDS screen and click on the settings icon in the top left corner.

  2. Make sure the KDS is set to Kitchen Mode.

  3. Also, ensure that the Unlabeled Items option is selected.
